Which currency do you accept?

The prices in this online shop are displayed in Japanese Yen. Your financial institution or card issuer will automatically calculate the applicable currency rate and will process the payment in the currency of your country. Please note that currency rates change constantly, and that you might be charged additional fees and currency conversion rates. From where do you ship?

All packages are shipped from Tokyo, Japan. Overseas orders are shipped with EMS (Express Mail Service by Japan Post) or Yamato. Orders within Japan are shipped with Japan Post.

How much are the shipping costs?

A
The shipping costs depend on the size and weight of the product and the shipping destination. You can see the exact shipping costs for each item on their respective product pages. Please note, that if you purchase multiple items, the shipping costs for each item will be charged separately. Additionally, taxes and other fees might occur (for example during customs).

How soon do you ship?

A
I do my best to ship your order within 10 - 14 business days, after your payment has been received. Please understand, that during busy seasons and in certain circumstances, I might need more time to prepare your order for shipping. If an artwork is on display in an exhibition at the time of purchase, the shipping might be scheduled after the exhibition has ended. You will receive a confirmation email, once your order has been shipped.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

In addition to the time it takes to prepare your order, the actual shipping time applies. All orders are shipped from Tokyo, Japan, and the shipping time depends on the shipping destination. Within Japan, it usually takes 3 - 7 days for an order to arrive. To US and Europe for example, it can take between 1 - 6 weeks or longer. The shipping time can also be delayed due to customs and unforeseen events. In some cases it might take up to 2 months or more for a package to arrive.

Can I track my package during shipping?

Yes. After your order has been shipped, I will send you a tracking code and link to the shipping service website. The website is available in English. You can check the shipping status of your order from there.

Is the package insured during shipping?

A
No, packages are not insured. If you would like to purchase shipping insurance, please contact me in advance, before you place your order. Please note that in this case, you will be charged the additional costs for the insurance. The price of the insurance varies, depending on the artwork, shipping destination and size & weight of the package.

Can I cancel my order?

A
No, I do not accept order cancellations from customers. Your order will be canceled if the payment was not received within the payment deadline, or if we detect suspicious behaviour or fraud. Please note that orders of first time customers might be canceled, if Credit Card, Next Month Deferred Payment or Carrier Payment was chosen as payment method.

Can I return the item?

No, all orders are final. If you have any concerns or questions about something you wish to order, please contact me. I might be able to send you additional information and images of the item.

What if I have received a defect or wrong item?

A
Defect or wrong items will be exchanged for new ones. If the item was a one-of-a-kind item, I will offer you an item of similar size, material and style instead. Please note that certain conditions apply, in order for an item to be eligible for exchange. What if the item got damaged or lost during shipping?

If the item has been damaged or lost during shipping, please contact the shipping company. Please note that I am not liable for any damages or losses that occur during shipping.

What is an E-Ticket?

A
E-Tickets are electronic tickets, issued for events such as workshops and classes. After you have purchased your E-Ticket, a ticket link will automatically be sent to the email address you provided. The E-Ticket is accessible via the link, so please do not delete this email.

How do I use the E-Ticket?

A
In order to use the E-Ticket, you will need a smartphone with access to email, a web browser and internet connection. At the event, please klick on the ticket link in the email that was sent to you earlier. The E-Ticket will open in your smartphone’s web browser. Please show this screen to the staff.

Can I cancel my E-Ticket?

A
You can cancel your attendance by sending me a message via the inquiry form. Please note though, that your E-Ticket will not be refunded. In case an event gets canceled on my behalf, I will not refund the ticket, but offer a new event date to you instead.

Can I return or exchange a download item?

Digital products (downloads) such as PDF files, ebooks, music, images or videos for example, are not eligible for returns, refunds or exchanges. If you have any questions about a digital item, please contact me before your purchase. I might be able to send you additional information, images or videos of the file.

Can I re-sell download items?

A
No. You are not allowed to re-sell, share, modify, publish or distribute the file and the content, or part of the content.

Can I use downloaded lesson materials as teaching materials in my own class?

A
No. You may copy the file onto other devices, and print out the document for personal use only. When you purchase a download item, you do not own the copyright of the file content. Therefore, you are not allowed to share, modify, publish, distribute or (re-)sell the file and the content, or part of the content.

Can I make a copy of the artwork I bought, and use it for my own products or projects?

A
No. When you purchase an artwork, such as a painting, print or object for example, the copyright of the depicted image and design is still held by the artist. You are not allowed to copy the work, or part of the work, in any way, whether physically or digitally. All works sold on this website are copyrighted © by Sonja Kanno and protected under international copyright law.

Can I sell room fragrances in my shop, or use them in my products and practice?

A
No. Room fragrances (aroma essential oils blends) are for personal use only. I do not sell wholesale, and items bought in this shop are not allowed to be sold in retail. You are not allowed to use aroma essential oil blends for commercial use, or as part of your products or aroma therapy practice for example.
